The right Attitude in life ignites the flame of hope for our lives to go from hopelessness to wonderful glory.
For me it has been the recognition that life is a journey and the Christian walk is full of trials and tribulations.
When we are going through struggles and hard times we must cry out to Jesus. For me I have found that crying out to the Lord has been the key to unlocking doors which has allowed me to walk in freedom and knowing when the World says no or we can’t God says we can.
God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think or imagine.
As it says in Isaiah Those who hope in the lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles.
With mental health recovery we cant do it alone we need support not just Family/doctor/caseworker
We need spiritual support from our Heavenly father and our church family.
I believe that having a personal relationship with the lord and having a healthy Prayer life has unlocked the doors and destroyed the roots of mental illness in my life.
We must put off the old man with all of its fleshly desires through a prayer of repentance, and put on the new man the mind of Christ.
Once we have the mind of Christ and live according to Gods plan for our lives, things in our life begin to shift in the right direction and we open the the door to spiritual vision and wonderful hope for our future before we go to our eternal home Heaven.
- The mind of Christ stands in sharp contrast to the wisdom of man
- The mind of Christ involves wisdom from God, once hidden but now revealed
- The mind of Christ is given to believers through the Spirit of God
- The mind of Christ cannot be understood by those without the Spirit
- The mind of Christ gives believers discernment in spiritual matters
I have found all the fruits of the spirit to be fully active in my life and I feel so blessed by my heavenly Father to giving them to me as a free gift.
Love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness, kindness, self control over flow out of my heart and it is my desire to be an encourager to people with mental illness.
For me it has been along journey to recovery and I am so thankful that I have the king of kings in my life.
